These are the plain-English terms for ordering from 405 Bakehouse. By placing an order, you’re agreeing to the below.
How orders work
- Orders are placed by messaging us on WhatsApp at +91 9838556068. The site doesn’t process payments directly.
- We bake to order in small batches. We’ll confirm the pickup or delivery time when we confirm the order.
- Orders are typically baked fresh within 24–48 hours of confirmation.
Payment
Payment is arranged at pickup or via UPI/bank transfer once the order is confirmed. We don’t store card information.
Cancellations and refunds
- If you need to cancel, message us at least 24 hours before the agreed pickup or delivery time. We’ll cancel for free.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup may be partially refundable depending on whether we’ve started baking.
- If something arrives damaged or wrong on our end, message us within 24 hours and we’ll make it right — replace, refund, or both.
Allergens and food safety
- Our cookies are made in a kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts. We can’t guarantee the absence of cross-contact for severe allergies.
- If you have a serious allergy, please tell us when you order so we can advise honestly whether we’re a fit.
- Cookies are best within 5–7 days of baking; store in an airtight container.
Catering, gifting, weddings, corporate orders
For larger orders, message us with rough quantity, date, and pickup or delivery details. We’ll send a quote within 24 hours and confirm in writing on WhatsApp.
Limitations
We’re a small operation. We can’t guarantee same-day fulfillment for last-minute requests. We may close orders briefly during travel or kitchen maintenance — we’ll post on Instagram @405bakehouse when we do.
